Saris Cycling Group hopes you can join them tonight, Tuesday November 5 at 5 pm, to check out their latest cycling infrastructure product and project. They worked with the City of Fitchburg to install 30 very unique flush-mounted solar powered, LED bike path lights on a section of the Capital City State Trail.
The lights are specifically designed to better guide cyclists and delineate bike paths, increasing usability by adding safety and convenience.
This installation is the first of its type in Wisconsin and a way to continue to improve cycling in the state.
The event is being held in Fitchburg where the Capital City State Trail crosses Edenberry Street. It will begin at 5 pm with brief remarks on the project from both Saris and the City of Fitchburg.
