When Amtrak rolls into Madison in 2013 — either at the Dane County Regional Airport or somewhere closer to the Capitol — passengers heading Downtown will have to take another form of transportation to get to their final destination.
“(Wherever) the regional hub is, we will want to make sure there is a good transit connection from that into our regional system,” said RTA board member Dick Wagner. The hub could also be a new location for an intercity bus depot.
