Join us for an insightful forum discussing the crucial topic of zoning reform and its far-reaching impacts on housing costs, family displacement, and community segregation. This panel will bring together experts and stakeholders to explore how current zoning laws contribute to increasing housing costs, displacing families, and perpetuating segregation, and how collaborative reform can create more inclusive, affordable, and vibrant communities.
Milwaukee’s Dept. of City Development recently released a draft plan for Growing MKE, the zoning plan update. Its aim is to create more housing freedom and accessibility across Milwaukee. This is a complex piece of legislation requiring thoughtful dialogue.
