Jordahl made a big difference

The professor in the regional planning class I took at the University of Wisconsin-Madison didn’t use a textbook. Harold C. “Bud” Jordahl Jr. was a self-contained curriculum, his mind and files bulging with firsthand observations about natural resource planning in Wisconsin.

Jordahl’s files and his knowledge were as accessible to students as they were for all the citizens of Wisconsin from the time he began working in the state in the 1960s to his death recently at the age of 83.
