1000 Friends’ new website Bus Bike Walk Wisconsin will help Wisconsinites plan trips using buses, bikes – or their feet.
Bus Bike Walk Wisconsin is intended to give users a one stop site for information on non-automotive transportation as well as provide information for advocates looking to promote better options for non-automotive users at the state and local level.
“Users can plan inter-city bus trips, calculate savings compared to driving and learn about the latest developments in transit and bike advocacy,” said Steve Hiniker, Executive Director of 1000 Friends of Wisconsin.
The site will also feature a blog and a discussion group for registered users.
The new website was made possible by the generous support of the Sally Mead Hands Foundation.
