On Friday February 7, Green Downtown Program Manager Matt Covert led 12 students in a freshman writing course at Beloit College in a walking tour of Downtown Beloit.
It was a chilly day but a fun and enlightening walk regardless. The students will be undertaking persuasive writing projects this semester to advocate for changes to their community to produce better public spaces.
