August 21 webinar – Mapping Access to Healthy Communities

August 21, 12 – 1 pm! Register here.

Transportation Access to Public Health Options (TAPHO) is an innovative mapping tool that shows how people can reach places that impact health, such as clinics and hospitals, parks and recreation sites, access to food and nutrition, infrastructure for safe walking and biking, and more. Stakeholders can use data in this tool to close gaps in transportation access gaps and support healthier community outcomes.

ТАРНО was developed by the Bay Lake Regional Planning Commission (BLRPC) in northeastern Wisconsin. Local attendees can learn how to use this resource in their community. Those elsewhere will learn how they could create similar tools.

Suggested Audience: Policymakers, members of local government, advocates of active transportation, advocates of public health

Presented by: Natalie Blackert and Bryce Thompson, Transportation Planners, Bay Lake RPC
Hosted by: 1000 Friends of Wisconsin.
