Eminent Domain & Bike/Ped Infrastructure Refresher & Resources

paths for people logoIn 2017, Wisconsin’s state budget contained a policy provision prohibiting local governments from using their powers of eminent domain for pedestrian and bicycle ways. Over the past two years, this issue has impacted those working at local and state-wide levels, and in the private sector. This spring, a number of collaborators developed an educational 1-page resource about the benefits of communities where people can safely walk and bike, as related to eminent domain.
