This month we worked with Rethink 794 to conduct the first in a series of walk-roll-audits along the I-794 corridor. A report of our preliminary findings from event are now available to view. The event took place on November 18th at 12pm and covered a western segment of I-794, adjacent to the Marquette Interchange.

What’s next?
- WisDOT’s Lake Interchange study page remains open for general public comments.
- Speak to your city and county elected officials and let them know your vision for a removed or reconfigured I-794.
- We invite all to walk & roll through the I-794 corridor at street level, whether at one of our events (coming early Spring 2026) or in your own time.
- Observe who interacts with the corridor.
- Take note of how it feels to walk or roll along Clybourn from 6th St. to the Lakefront.
- Examine what exists and envision what’s possible.
- Tell your friends and family about your vision.
