Let’s Celebrate 30 Years of 1000 Friends of Wisconsin
Mark your calendars! Join us on Thursday, October 8, from 5:30p-8:00p at the Goodman Community Center Brassworks Building in Madison, Wisconsin. Our organization will be celebrating 30 years of protecting Wisconsin’s natural resources and building healthy communities around the state.
It will be a wonderful chance to reconnect with members and our amazing partners – plus, it will give our staff a chance to share what’s on the horizon across our work in land use, housing, and transportation.

Getting Here
Bike or Walk: Located directly on the Capital City Trail
Bus: Bus stops are located on Atwood Avenue at Waubesa Street (Stop #1219 for eastbound, Stop #1894 for westbound). You can take Metro Transit Route C or Route 38, which both service the Atwood and Waubesa intersection just a short walk from the building. More Info
Car: Parking is available in the Brassworks Building lot, St. Bernard’s Church lot next door, and on many side streets around the Brassworks Building. More info here.

Space is limited, and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. To guarantee your place, RSVP to your mailed or electronic invitation ASAP. If you did not receive your invitation, please get in touch with trevor@1kfriends.org for your invite. Tickets are $30 per person and we can accept online payment or check via mail.
Important: No tickets will be sold after September 15, 2026.
