We are now accepting applications for a Community Engagement Manager for our statewide campaign – Housing Onward Wisconsin, which is a program of 1000 Friends of Wisconsin.
About Us: We are a statewide coalition of neighbors and nonprofits advancing practical housing solutions and updated land use policies to support strong, sustainable communities across Wisconsin.
Who We’re Looking For: We’re looking for someone highly organized, energized by bringing people together, passionate about advancing pro-housing policy across Wisconsin, and ready to roll up their sleeves to coordinate the Community Housing Academy, building relationships with participants and partners to help ensure each session is a success.
We’re excited to kick off this effort to drive policy change at the State Capitol, advocating for greater housing affordability and housing choices across Wisconsin.
This position reports to the Housing Policy Director, and you will be an integral part of the housing team, which also includes the Communications & Digital Manager and Executive Director.
Timeline: Applications will be reviewed as received, with the goal of identifying an outstanding candidate by late October 2026. The expected start date for the position is as soon as possible.
